Hamilton Academical v Hearts – Featured Match Preview – SWPL 2

The SuperSeal Stadium, 9 October, Kick-off: 4pm

For the second Sunday in a row, there is a clash of title challengers at the SuperSeal Stadium as Hamilton Academical host Hearts.

Hearts go into the game three points ahead of Hamilton after being awarded a win against Hutchison Vale for the game played between the sides in August which Hutchie has been found guilty of fielding an ineligible player.

But Hamilton knows they will return to top spot with a win over Hearts. Their win over Glasgow Girls extended their current winning run to six games and they will be full of confidence going into the game against Hearts that they can continue it.

However, Hamilton’s games against Hearts have all ended in wins for the Edinburgh side – including two games in a row back in the summer when the clubs also met in the Scottish Cup.

Hearts are also in good form, winning their past three matches without conceding a single goal. They are also unbeaten in their past twelve games, a run that has seen them move top of the table.

Whoever wins today will end the day in first place.
