Stirling University picked up a stunning win over Rangers to move up to fifth in the SWPL 1.
They took the lead in just the third minute when Lauren Gallon’s long-ball found Nicole Pullar who beat the Rangers’ keeper with a superb finish. Three minutes later, they had doubled their lead through Rebecca Galbraith’s chipped finish.
Just before half-time, Stirling scored their third. Galbraith’s free-kick was dropped by the keeper, allowing Katy Morris to score her first goal for the club.
In the 79th minute, it was 4-0 when Rachel Donaldson’s stunning cross found Pullar who was left with a simple finish.
And then, it was 5-0 when Jade Gallon found the back of the net with an incredible 30-yard strike.
