Hearts v Inverness City – Match Preview – SWPL 1

King’s Park, Kick-off 2pm

Title-chasing Hearts look to move back up to the top as they host seventh-placed Inverness City.

The title race in the SWPL 2 is continuing to be nail-bitingly exciting, and there seem to be several twists yet to come. And Hearts know that they have to win today. Hearts had returned to the top in August when they lost to Glasgow Girls – but that stay lasted just one game when they lost the next week to Hutchison Vale. They have to look to win every single game in the remaining of the season.

Inverness City is the other end of the table, and they too need to look to win each game. They remain in the relegation zone, five points behind sixth-place and safety. With six games, they need to take points in each game if they are going to have a chance to secure safety.

Hearts have won both games against Inverness City this season, winning the first 7-0 and then 10-1 in the second.
