A superb second-half display from Hibernian saw them run out 9-0 winners against Rangers.
After an open start, Hibs took the lead in the 13th minute when Joelle Murray cut back a cross to Emma Brownlie who scored from six yards. Just after the half-hour mark, they doubled their lead when Chelsea Cornet picked out the top corner from the edge of the box.
And in the closing moments of the first half, a clinical finish from Lizzie Arnot meant the home side went into the break 3-0 in front.
In the 54th minute, a smart pass from Arnot found Rachel McLauchlan who beat the keeper. She got her second goal after good skill in the box allowed her to score from close range.
Rachel Small picked out the bottom corner from outside the penalty area to make it 6-0 to Hibs.
And then, ten minutes after scoring her first, McLauchlan completed her hat-trick. She broke through Rangers’ defence before beating the keeper with a great finish.
Arnot dribbled through the Rangers defence to score Hibernian’s eighth goal, and then she converted from the penalty spot to complete her hat-trick.
