Aberdeen 0-1 Stirling University – Match Summary – SWPL 1

aberdeen 0-1 stirling

Stirling University took a big leap towards safety by beating Aberdeen 1-0 to move up to sixth, and leave the north-east club’s new management still looking for their first points.

After a goalless first half, Stirling took the lead in the 63rd minute from Nicole Pullar who scored with a 30-yard screamer which lobbed the Dons’ keeper.

The home side had chances to equalise late on, but the home side was denied by several wonder saves from Stirling’s keeper Chloe Logan.

The defeat sees Aberdeen move down to seventh, and in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle.
