Greenfield Football Centre, 26 June 2016, Kick-Off: 2pm
The top two sides in the SWPL 2 meet to decide who will go into the mid-season break in first place.
Both Glasgow Girls and Hamilton Academical sit level on points, with Hamilton having the superior goal difference. And with Hearts one point behind them, if this game ends in a draw, neither of the sides could be top come the end of the day.
Glasgow Girls are the league’s in-form side, winning their past six games as they climbed the table to joint top. During that run, they’ve only conceded four goals and scoring 17 goals – and that run included becoming the first side to beat Hearts and the first to defeat Buchan away from home.
Since recovering from their blip mid-way through the season, where they lost to Hamilton and Hutchison Vale, Hamilton has also been in good form. They’ve won their past four matches, scoring 24 goals in the process.
Earlier in the season, Hamilton beat Glasgow Girls 2-0 – the last time that Glasgow Girls have lost.
