Hibernian picked up an 11-0 win over Boroughmuir Thistle in the Scottish Women’s Cup Second Round tie, ahead of their midweek SWPL Cup Final against Glasgow City.
They took the lead in the 12th minute through Caroline Heron who scored from just inside the box. One minute later, Heron made it 2-0 with a header.
Lucy Graham’s header late in the first half gave Hibernian a 3-0 lead at half-time.
Early in the second half, Heron completed her hat-trick to make it 4-0 before Lia Tweedie’s superb solo effort gave Hibs a 5-0 lead.
Just after the hour mark, Heron scored twice to make it 7-0 before Zoe Johnstone scored, increasing their lead to 8-0.
Rachel McLauchlan made in 9-0 in the 81st minute. Minutes after making her first team debut, Morgan Turner scored.
And then in the 87th minute, Tweedie scored to her second to make it Hibernian 11-0 Boroughmuir Thistle at full-time.
