Albyn Park, 29 May, Kick-off: 2pm
Second-placed Hibernian will look to continue the pressure on Glasgow City as they take on Aberdeen.
Ever since Hibs had lost to Glasgow City at the beginning of the month, they have known the importance of winning each of their games until they play City next. Currently, they trail the champions by eight points although they have a game in hand over City.
But since that defeat, Hibs has been in terrific form, winning their SWPL Cup Semi-Final and then beating Spartans 4-0 and Rangers 6-0 in the league.
Aberdeen, on the other hand, is still struggling to put together a run of form. However, they come into today’s game off the back of a comprehensive 4-0 home win over Spartans and their striker Nikki Smith will be full of confidence having scored a hat-trick in that game.
And they can take further confidence from the reverse fixture when they restricted Hibs to a goalless draw. As Glasgow City will testify, Aberdeen can be one of the toughest teams to break down. This will be an intriguing match.
A win may see Hibernian cut the gap to first down to five points, whilst if Aberdeen wins, they could climb from sixth up to fifth.
