Rangers host Hibernian as they try and return to winning ways and possibly retake second place.

This is the third time these two sides have met this season, and in the previous two times, Hibernian have triumphed.

Before the SWPL League Cup Semi-Final, Rangers had been one of the in-form teams in the SWPL 1, winning three games in a row to move up to second place. However, after losing their semi-final to Hibs and then losing to Glasgow City last Sunday, they had dropped down to fourth place.

But they have shown themselves to be a high-energy team, more than capable of pushing Hibernian if they cut out defensive errors.

Hibernian will arrive today under the pressure of knowing that they have to win to keep up the pressure on Glasgow City. They are currently eight points behind the champions, and although they have a game in hand, City at the moment do not look like losing.

But Hibernian can take heart that since their defeat to City in the league, they have responded with attacking and positive football and has scored four goals in both of their past two matches.

Rangers can move up to second with a win, whilst Hibernian can only close the gap on City.
