Bottom club Forfar Farmington entertain Hibernian in a repeat of the SWP League Cup Quarter-Final.

Forfar has had a difficult start to the SWPL 1 season, losing both of their opening fixtures. But whilst their first game against Celtic was disappointing, their loss to the early league leaders Spartans could have been different if it hadn’t been for a red card when the scores were level.

Their only win of the season had come in the SWP League Cup when they had beaten Hearts 3-0 in the First Round. But when they met today’s opponents in the Quarter-Finals, it was a different story as they lost 6-0.

On the other hand, Hibernian are currently unbeaten in all competitions but will be looking to return to winning ways in the league. Their SWPL 1 season had started with an impressive 3-1 win over Rangers, but in their previous league game, they travelled up to Aberdeen and came away with a point after a goalless draw.

They have an SWP League Cup Semi-Final to look forward to, having beaten Celtic in the First Round 1-0 before defeating Forfar in the Quarters.

A win could see Forfar move up to fifth, whilst Hibs can theoretically move up to first.
