Hutchison Vale faces the long trip up to Inverness to take on a side that is still looking for that winning feeling to return.

Inverness’ two opening games have been against the two pre-season title favourites – Hamilton and Hearts – and both have ended in defeats. Whilst the away trip to Hearts may have ended in a heavy 7-0 loss, the opening day defeat at home to Hamilton is one that they can take heart from, especially from their fighting spirit.

Hutchison Vale sits on three points, but will be looking to put behind the disappointment of their defeat to Buchan last time around. Whilst they created numerous chances, they failed to take them and were punished by an efficient counter-attacking display by Buchan. Their only win of the season though did come away from home, when they beat Glasgow Girls 3-1.

The last time the two sides met at Millburn Academy was actually the last time Inverness picked up a point when their late fightback secured a 3-3 draw back in October 2015.
